Ashridge House is a Grade I listed Gothic Revival mansion in the Chiltern Hills near Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire.

It stands within a 5,000-acre National Trust estate of woodland, common and chalk downland.

Since 1959 the house has served as a campus for Hult Ashridge, which delivers executive education and coaching programmes to senior professionals.

The surrounding Ashridge Forest remains open to visitors, though the house itself is reserved for educational use rather than public tours.

History

Ashridge has been home to a religious college, a royal residence, and successive country house rebuildings before the present house took shape. Since 1959 it has housed Hult Ashridge, an executive education and coaching institution. Ownership of the estate now rests with the National Trust, which manages the surrounding forest and downland.

The current mansion is a Gothic Revival building, one of several successive houses to occupy the site.

Ashridge is used today as a campus for postgraduate coaching and executive education programmes run by Hult International Business School, drawing senior professionals from around the world.
