The Capel Cure family took possession of Blake Hall in 1789 and have retained it for more than 230 years. The estate's three barns date to the 17th century and remain standing within the grounds. Both the house and its park are protected under the National Heritage List for England, the house at Grade II* and the park and garden at Grade II.
