Five National Trust places sit inside the Kent Downs National Landscape boundary, from Quebec House in the north to Fan Bay Deep Shelter in the south. Five of them are within four miles of a mainline railway station, and three have a café.

Quebec House: The childhood home of General James Wolfe, commander at the Battle of Quebec in 1759. Emmetts Garden: Emmetts Garden is a six-acre hillside garden near Ide Hill, Kent, known for rare trees. Knole House: A 600-year-old estate with courtyards, showrooms, Gatehouse Tower and extensive parkland. The three are about 6 miles apart from first to last, so they fit into one day.
